PSIPENTA Presents Java-based Just-in-Sequence Solution at CeBIT

Berlin, 19 January 2012 –Manufacturing specialist PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH will be presenting its PSIjis Just-in-Sequence solution with the newly developed integrable sequencing optimisation for the automotive industry at the CeBIT in Hanover (Hall 5, Stand E16) from 6 to 10 March 2012.

PSIjis supports a sequence precise and synchronous delivery directly to the line and beyond that guarantees the loading of the sequenced parts in the transport containers. A visualisation of the containers and the exact loading position supports the operators and minimises the risk of error. As a result of the integrated sequencing optimisation, both automobile manufacturers as well as suppliers can harmonise their complex processes as needed. PSIjis is based on the JAVA framework developed by PSI Group, which, amongst other things, guarantees the hardware independency of PSI products.

A special focus at this year’s CeBIT will be on the partner country Brazil. “Brazilian visitors will receive information in their mother tongue,” promises Managing Director Alfred M. Keseberg. “In an increasingly international business and especially with regard to the importance of Brazil as a production site, it is a matter of course that some of our staff also speaks Portuguese,” he adds.

In addition, a Race Toureg will be on display with which the PSIPENTA customer VW Motorsport has won the Dakar Rally for the last three years.

PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat), production management (metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, mining, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1.450 persons in the group.
