The PSIpenta product spectrum is made up of the following modules: ERP standard, Manufacturing Execution System, Maintenance, Controlling, Accounting, Quality Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Warehouse Management and Customer Relationship Management.

The automotive industry solution automotive involves the integration of all value-adding manufacturing and logistics processes. On the one hand, it maps the complete vertical process from project management in development through to mass production on the shop floor; on the other hand it supports horizontal procedures from procurement through to sales. The supply chain management module forms the core of the automotive application. Thus, the solution covers all standards (EDIFACT, ANSI, Odette, VDA, Galia and others) and also specific processes such as MAIS (GM), BeLOM (BMW) and AMES-T (VW). Specific development processes with external service providers (EDL), supplier logistics centres (SLC) or consignment and even Just-in-time (JIT), Just-in-sequence are also supported. The classic functions of mass production such as coupled-production and batch tracing are also included in the package.

In this case, industry focus is placed on machine and system construction, which are to be assigned to project, individual and customised production. Functional emphasis for these operations is placed on resource planning, change management (“growing” BOMs), provision of specific machine data, integration of construction and production (EDM/PDM connection), exotic currencies handing etc. With the new release, the industry solution experienced enhancements within the field of cross-departmental order processing (myOpenFactory); at the same time, project structures and engineering change management were integrated. With PSIpenta PLuS, extensive functionality such as capable-to-promise delivery dates, backlog processing, and purchasing synchronisation were integrated into the standard in addition.
