PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH, part of the PSI AG group of companies, develops software products that are specially tailored to the requirements of machine and plant manufacturers. Our philosophy of Perfection in Production is reflected in all aspects of the integrated commercial and technical functions of our software which are optimised across the entire production process.

Today’s Production Planning, ERP and other production products from PSIpenta originated 20 years ago as a result of close collaboration between university research departments, state organisations and manufacturing companies, with the aim of producing an integrated software system for machinery and equipment manufacturers which had hitherto not existed. The result was the first version of what was to become PSIpenta. Since then the products have continued to evolve to meet customer requirements rather than mass market opportunities. PSIpenta has been refined with extensive and ongoing input from its users whilst the research organisations have guided the developers in the new techniques and technologies that are actually relevant to our customers. Consequently PSIpenta embraces all aspects of the business for which it is designed, from the sales process and order winning, production planning, materials and components procurement, through manufacturing (including sub-contracting), project management, delivery, shipping, documentation, billing, maintenance and servicing.

In addition to the PSIpenta suite of products the PSI Group also develops and supplies specialist production process software for the steel industry, transport logistics and warehouse management systems for manufacturers and distributors of goods and has a market leading energy distribution management division (Gas, Oil and Electricity).
